Gold rings are conservative and will always be in style, but when the newer metals are seeing a lot of action on the fashion curcuit. For example, I haven’t seen a celebrity put on a gold engagement ring for quite awhile.

In the end, the most fashionable thing you can do is to purchase an engagement rings that makes you happy. If there isn’t a trend towards happiness, then start one. Who cares what others think of your ring as long as it warms your heart every time you look down at your finger. But don’t forget, be sure your diamond is conflict free!
